Due to the exposure, rocky soil, and winds, Meadowrock maintains hygiene in wet, cold vintages. We only harvest what is ripe. In difficult years we go through the blocks up to four times during the season, selecting and harvesting just-ripe clusters. All our fruit goes through sorting belts, where we sort clusters and berries. We ferment in small t-bins with an objective to extract the move without compromising the quality and style. We then age the wine in French-oak barrels for up to 22 months.
